MTF DONATION UPDATE
On December 7th, 2009, the MTF Foundation was proud to accept a donation totaling over CAD 4,139.75 from the MGMT 4431 Leadership Development Class from Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
As part of their term project, the students were tasked with setting a goal donation for the foundation, and creating a fundraising strategy to reach that goal. The class came up with some truly great ideas, ranging from bottle drives, to used book sales, to even incorporating a fundraising campaign into the curriculum at a local
elementary school.
As a result of the student’s efforts, all of the foundation’s programs will receive donations, helping us to help those in need. We look forward to the continuing relationship with the MGMT 4431 Leadership Development at Mount Royal and anticipate seeing what the students will create for fundraising campaigns next semester!
